Proxies offer a variety of benefits to your network, such as extra security and bandwidth savings. They are widely used in corporate and school settings, but you can also set them up at home if you find your connection speed is slowing. You can set proxy settings in Windows 10 through the Settings app or Control Panel. If you use the proxy for work or school, make sure that the Use automatic detection of settings is turned on and the Use setup script option is On under the Automatic Proxy Setup section.
Open the Internet Options window by clicking on the Control Panel icon or by typing “Internet options” into the Search bar.
